The transformation of Disney Village is well and truly under way, and the months ahead promise to be busier than ever. Following the opening of three new Disney shops last spring, the reopening of the LEGO® Store, and the debut of the seasonal terrace Petite Rosalie, the area is buzzing with fresh energy and excitement. Here is an overview of all current and upcoming projects at Disneyland Paris’s shopping and dining district.
Sports Bar & Lounge: Reopening on 22 November
On 22 November, the Sports Bar & Lounge will reopen its doors following an extensive renovation, offering a completely reimagined experience. On the agenda: a larger dining area with more seating, a newly designed planted terrace, a fresh contemporary interior, and a fully updated food and beverage offering. The venue has undergone a complete transformation, reimagined as a welcoming and lively sports lounge, sponsored by Coca-Cola — a longstanding partner of Disneyland Paris.
Perfectly in keeping with Disney Village’s new identity, the Sports Bar & Lounge features a modern yet inviting design, where every colour, material, and shape offers a subtle nod to the world of sport. Inside, the walls are decorated with artwork and sports memorabilia, and multiple screens broadcast live sporting events. Disney fans will love the enormous fresco of Goofy inspired by the short film How to Play Football, as well as the mural on the restaurant’s façade inspired by the animated series Big Hero 6: The Series.
The terrace, flooded with natural light during the day thanks to an impressive glazed roof and new lighting, combines brick, wood, and metal to create an elegantly planted patio. The main bar has been repositioned to create a true outdoor extension of the lounge, where guests can soak up the relaxed atmosphere and catch major sporting events live on the giant screen.
The Sports Bar & Lounge menu has also been completely refreshed. It now offers a more varied selection to suit every moment of the day — from breakfast through to the evening — with tempting gourmet sharing snacks, delicious main courses, and XL-sized culinary creations that are perfect for enjoying together.
The menu is further complemented by creatively themed dishes inspired by different sports, ensuring every bite contributes to a fully immersive experience. The drinks list features a wide selection of draught craft beers and ciders, exclusive alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, and sharing drinks — ideal for making the most of the lounge atmosphere.
Opening Soon: Pelé Soccer, the New Shop Dedicated to the World of Football
Disney Village will soon welcome the Pelé Soccer boutique, located just behind the Sports Bar & Lounge. This new shop is entirely dedicated to the world of football and celebrates the legendary career of Brazilian football icon Pelé — a globally recognised symbol of sporting excellence. This will be the brand’s very first European location, following the opening of shops at Disney Springs (Walt Disney World Resort, Florida) and Downtown Disney (Disneyland Resort, California). Visitors can look forward to an extensive range of exclusive football shirts, accessories, vintage-inspired products, and merchandise. Construction is set to begin shortly.
Major Projects in Partnership with World-Renowned Brands
The transformation of Disney Village includes collaborations with several leading partners.
The largest McDonald’s in France will open in early 2026, designed especially for families and park guests. The new restaurant is situated right next to the current branch that opened in 1999, which will close once the new location is ready. It features a unique and innovative architectural design created exclusively for Disneyland Paris, and Disney fans will instantly spot the playful references to the park. While the design celebrates bright, planted spaces, families can enjoy their meal indoors or on one of the beautiful outdoor terraces — all within a welcoming and contemporary setting. This new location — McDonald’s flagship restaurant in France — brings together the very best of the brand alongside its most innovative services.
With its foundations now in place, the construction of Casa Giulia is rising upwards. This new restaurant for lovers of Italian cuisine, operated by Bertrand Hospitality, is expected to welcome its first guests at the end of 2026. Visitors can look forward to a family-friendly, two-storey dining experience, with beloved Italian classics served generously alongside a seasonal menu. The restaurant will also offer Giulia Express for quick service and takeaway, featuring pizza by the slice, focaccias, and classic Italian pastries.
Disneyland Paris and the Pathé Group have officially extended their partnership, continuing their collaboration for the operation of the Cinema in Disney Village for the years ahead.
Renovation of Annette’s Diner and the Disney Store’s Transformation into Disney Wonders
The end of the year offers one last chance to visit two Disney Village institutions before they temporarily close in January 2026 for renovation.
From 5 January 2026, Annette’s Diner will close for several months of extensive renovation. The works include an expansion of the kitchens and a full refurbishment of the dining room — including floors and furnishings — while preserving the charm and retro atmosphere that have made the restaurant so beloved since 1992. After reopening, Annette’s Diner will continue to celebrate the golden age of rock ‘n’ roll and the 1950s, delighting guests just as it always has.
The Disney Store is set for a complete transformation! In 2026, Disney Wonders will unveil a bright, modern new space that places visitors right in the heart of their favourite Disney stories through themed zones. The shopping experience is being entirely reinvented, with the aim of combining immersion, comfort, and a sense of wonder. With each new season, fresh surprises will be added to this magical adventure.
Alongside these new developments, the transformation of Disney Village continues with the renovation of façades, flooring, signage, and planted areas. A brand-new welcome and security kiosk has recently been unveiled next to Brasserie Rosalie for guests arriving from the Disney Hotels. In early 2026, a second kiosk will open between Annette’s Diner and the esplanade of the TGV station.
