Christophe Murphy Appointed President of Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris has today announced that Christophe Murphy has been appointed as the new President of Disneyland Paris, effective 6 July.

Murphy brings more than 35 years of experience with Disney, having held leadership roles across Europe and Asia. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Disneyland Paris, overseeing the openings of Disney Adventure World and World of Frozen. He began his career at Disneyland Paris back in 1991.

Murphy succeeds Natacha Rafalski, who moves on from 6 July to take up the role of President of Disney Signature Experiences. In his new position, Murphy will lead a team of more than 20,000 Cast Members across two theme parks, seven hotels, Disney Village, and the resort’s offices.

A key focus will be the continued expansion of the resort, including the new themed land inspired by The Lion King, for which work has recently begun. Murphy previously held a role at Tokyo Disney Resort, where he strengthened the operational partnership with Oriental Land Company.
