There are a few Disneyland Paris budget secrets that even seasoned visitors often overlook. These clever tips cost nothing to use, yet they can easily save you tens of euros each day in the park. Most budget articles about Disneyland Paris focus on tickets, hotels, and dining – the major expenses. However, the real savings often lie in smaller, lesser-known tricks that aren’t usually shared. We’ve compiled six of them for you, each a tip we use ourselves or that loyal viewers have shared with us.

Secret 1: The Refillable Mug at Your Disney Hotel

Are you staying at one of the Disney Hotels? Then, at most hotels, you can purchase a refillable mug – a reusable cup offering unlimited drinks. You can refill it as many times as you like throughout your stay at your hotel’s coffee and soft drink stations. For a family enjoying a drink every morning and evening, this mug will pay for itself within two days.

Secret 2: The Bon Plan Ticket

On selected, less busy dates, Disney releases a limited number of Bon Plan tickets (a French term for “good deal” or “special offer ticket”) starting from €49 per person for a day in one park – sometimes up to 52 per cent cheaper than the standard price. You won’t find them automatically on the homepage: when booking, select “Other Disney Park Tickets”, then “Dated Basic Ticket (1 Day)”, and check which dates on the calendar show a lower price. These tickets are limited in availability and typically go on sale between 60 and 90 days before your visit date. They are non-amendable and non-refundable, so choose your date carefully.

Secret 3: The French CE Discount Code

In France, many companies offer their staff access to a Comité Social et Économique (CE, similar to an employee council that negotiates discounts), providing significant savings on Disneyland Paris tickets. Do you have a French family member, friend, or business contact with access to such a CE portal? It’s worth asking them. Additionally, some British and European travel agencies work with allocations that originate from these same discount pools, so always compare multiple booking channels before booking directly with Disney.

Secret 4: Bringing Your Own Snacks is Allowed

Many visitors believe you’re not allowed to bring your own food or drinks into the parks. This isn’t true: small snacks, sandwiches, and a bottle of water in your backpack are perfectly fine (large cool boxes or glass bottles are not permitted). For a day in the park, pack some fruit, biscuits, and sandwiches from your hotel or a supermarket in Val d’Europe, and save the more expensive in-park dining for a truly special moment, such as a character dinner.

Secret 5: Shopping at La Vallée Village Instead of the Park

Just near Val d’Europe station, you’ll find La Vallée Village, an outlet shopping centre with a complimentary shuttle bus service from the Disney Hotels. Designer clothing and bags are often 30 to 60 per cent cheaper here than their regular price, and it’s a wonderfully relaxed way to spend half a day without needing a park ticket – ideal for a break day during a longer stay.

Secret 6: Visiting Disney Village Without a Park Ticket

Did you know that Disney Village is completely free to enter, even without a park ticket? Shops, restaurants, and in the evenings, live music and entertainment are all freely accessible until late. For example, plan your arrival or departure day without a park ticket: soak up the atmosphere, pick up your souvenirs at World of Disney, and round off the evening with a lovely meal, all without needing to purchase an expensive day pass.
