The cinema in Disney Village is set for a wonderful transformation. Disneyland Paris is partnering with cinema chain Pathé for a complete refurbishment of the Disney Village cinema. Curious about what’s changing and if you can still catch a film during the work? Below, we share everything we know so far.
What’s Changing?
The cinema will receive a completely fresh look, including a revamped façade, fully renovated screens with comfortable relax seats for enhanced comfort, and a Pathé Café offering a wide selection of food and drinks. There will also be a Häagen-Dazs corner for a delightful ice cream treat before or after your film, and a Pathé Games area where friends and families can gather before the movie begins or chat afterwards.

When Will the Work Begin?
The refurbishment work is set to begin later this summer, with the aim of unveiling the new Pathé cinema experience in 2027. The wonderful news is that the renovation will take place in phases, ensuring the cinema remains open throughout the construction period. So, there’s no need to postpone your visit if you’d love to catch a film during your stay.

What Does This Mean for Your Visit?
This exciting refurbishment is part of the larger magical makeover currently underway across Disney Village. For instance, the new Casa Giulia restaurant will soon open its doors further along in Disney Village, with even more enchanting projects in the pipeline. If you’re planning a visit in the coming months, you can absolutely continue to enjoy the cinema – you’ll primarily notice some construction work here and there, but this certainly won’t detract from your delightful evening in Disney Village.
Kevin’s tip
Should you encounter a rainy afternoon during your visit, catching a film in Disney Village offers a lovely, relaxed way to stay completely immersed in the Disney atmosphere without being out in the rain.

Welcome to KTW Magazine! I’m Kevin Schrier, the founder of this platform. My passion for Disney began in the opening year of Disneyland Paris, in 1992, when I visited the park with my whole family – my parents and my brother. I was only three years old at the time.
After that first trip, the park quickly became the setting for a very special tradition between my mother and me. Our exclusive trips together created a magical bond that makes this place extra special to me.
With KTW Magazine I combine my years of experience with the latest news and practical tips and tricks. I love sharing my knowledge and inspiring other visitors for a carefree and unforgettable trip to Disneyland Paris.
